Audio not working in browser
Browser audio often needs a user click before it can play. Device mute switches, tab audio, permissions, and mobile browser rules can also block sound.
Quick checks
Click inside the game once, check tab mute, raise device volume, and confirm that the browser has not blocked audio for the site.
Mobile behavior
iOS and some mobile browsers are stricter about audio. If sound does not start, tap the game, leave fullscreen, and re-enter after the session is visible.
When to report it
If audio works on other sites but not here after a refresh, report your device, browser, and the mode you were using: normal play, duels, or mods.

Browser audio rules
Most browsers block audio until the user interacts with the page. A click inside the game area is usually enough. Some mobile browsers also require the device ringer or silent mode to allow sound.
Bluetooth devices can add another layer. If sound is missing only on headphones, test the device speaker once before reporting a site bug.
Quick report checklist
Say whether the tab is muted, whether other websites have sound, whether the game shows visuals, and whether audio starts after clicking inside the game. That separates a blocked audio permission from a game launch problem.
Output devices
If you use headphones, speakers, HDMI, or Bluetooth, check the browser output device and the system mixer. A browser can send sound to a device that is connected but not audible. Reconnecting the device and clicking inside the game again is often enough.
Step by step audio fix
Browser audio is permission-based, so start with the simple checks before changing deeper settings.
- Click inside the game area.
- Check tab mute.
- Check system volume.
- Check the output device.
- Disable silent mode or ringer mute on mobile.
- Reconnect Bluetooth audio if used.
- Refresh once after changing audio device.
Common audio mistakes
Clicking the browser toolbar does not count as interacting with the game. Some browsers only allow sound after the game frame itself receives input. Another common issue is sound being routed to a monitor, headset, or Bluetooth device that is connected but not audible.
Honest limitations
Mobile audio behavior varies by browser and operating system. If sound works on desktop but not on one phone browser, report the phone and browser instead of assuming the game audio is broken for everyone.
When sound starts late
If sound starts only after opening a menu or clicking a card, the browser probably waited for a user interaction. That is annoying, but it is different from broken audio. If sound never starts after several direct clicks in the game area, report it with the browser and output device.
If audio disappears only after switching tabs, mention that too. Some browsers pause or reroute audio when a tab loses focus.
What not to reset
Do not clear saves or browser storage for an audio-only problem. Audio problems are usually permissions, output devices, mute state, or browser autoplay rules. Save resets do not fix those causes and can create a second problem.
