Mods

Balatro web mods

Mods run in a separate modded client path. They are for testing supported browser-ready packages and do not count toward normal saves, leaderboards, Chips, achievements, or quests.

Unofficial community site. Balatro belongs to its original creators. This site is built for players who already own Balatro and want browser access, account tools, and community features.

What modded play is for

The Mods area is for testing browser-ready Balatro mod packages in a separate modded client. It is intentionally separate from normal progression so a broken package does not affect normal leaderboards, Chips, quests, or achievements.

Mods can change menus, cards, art, scoring, and runtime behavior. Because of that, the site treats modded sessions as their own testing space.

Good testing habits

Use one mod first, launch to the main menu, then start a run and interact with the game. A package that reaches the menu but fails after clicking still needs a report.

When combining mods, add them one at a time. If a menu tab disappears or card text is missing, report the combination instead of only one package name.

What reports should include

Include the package file name, displayed mod name, version if shown, and the moment it failed. Missing card art, missing descriptions, broken settings tabs, and crashes after clicking are different problems and should be described separately.
